In the next version expect to have more information such as the names of all of the chickens and things like this that most writers think are "unimportant." ------------------------------------------------------------- I N T R O D U C T I O N ~=======================~ One of the things that has marveled players of Dungeon Siege are the numerous features. In Role-Playing Games, mutliplayer secrets are usually called Easter Eggs. Well, games like you and I have discovered the Easter Egg of Dungeon Siege, which is the Chicken Level. This FAQ, my third for Dungeon Siege, will tell you how exactly to get to the secret Chicken Level, with locations of the needed items and other things. I hope you enjoy this FAQ as well as my others. Thanks for reading, Heat ------------------------------------------------------------- W H A T I S T H E C H I C K E N L E V E L ?? ~====================================================~ The Chicken Level is Dungeon Siege's Easter Egg. The chicken level is a super-hilarious stage in Dungeon Siege. The monsters inside of the Chicken Level are chickens with the names of the people who made Dungeon Siege. There is a Chris Taylor chicken as well as others. All of the chickens drop super items which makes the Chicken Level VERY unique. Its uniqueness got me into writing this FAQ for all players to read and visit the Chicken Level. ------------------------------------------------------------- G A T H E R I N G T H E I T E M S ~=====================================~ Gathering the items for the Chicken Level isnt as easy as it seems. You will need 3 things. You will need the 'knife' that you started out with in the beginning of the game. You will need the "Fury's Eye" and you will also need the "Trial of Gallus" book. This section will tell you the location of those items. Trial of Gallus ---- The Trial of Gallus can be found in an underground area of Hiroth. This is the area around the Hiroth Circle where you place the eight stones. You dont know where all of the stones are?? Here are the locations. Eldimm Stone -- To get the Eldimm stone go talk to the priestess in the magic shop. She will tell you about a stone her grandmother lost *blah blah blah*. Go to the Ancient Crypt. As you go through check every passage you see. You will finally somewhere see a coffin. Open it and the Eldimm Stone comes out. Return to the priestess after you find it and she will give you a ring. You MUST wear the ring until you find all eight stones. Crystwind Stone -- To get the Crystwind stone talk to the lady beside the warriors store (or whatever). She asks you to find an hourglass runestone. Go into the ruins near your current location. Kill every monster there and a Krug eventually drops the Runestone. Bring it back to the lady and she gives you the Crystwind Town Stone. Fallraen Stone -- To get the Fallraen stone talk to the priest[ess] and she will tell you some dude has been missing for a month *blah blah blah again*. Go into the ice cave and you will see him frozen with the stone sitting beside him. You dont have to return to the priest[ess]. Meren Stone -- I dont exactly remember how to get this one. Ask around or buy it from other players :D Lang Stone -- The Lang Stone is one of the easy ones to get. Go into Lang and simply talk to the priest[ess] and s/he will give it to you. Quillrabe Stone -- Talk to the priest[ess] at the magic shop and s/he will tell you the Dragon Queen stole the Quillrabe Stone. Head south into the Dragon's Nest and defeat the queen dragon to magically open the sealed treasure chests. The Quillrabe Stone is in one of the chests. Hiroth Stone -- This is the easiest stone to get. Go to the Hiroth Circle and it will be laying there. Grescal Stone -- The Grescal Stone is in the Ancient Ruins. Follow the torches to the Ancient Ruins. Press on through (dont miss the buttons you have to press that are on the walls) the Ancient Ruins and you will see it lying on an alter/shrine/whatever you want to call it. Fury's Eye ---- Start in Jeriah's Travelers Camp and go to the Crystal Caverns. Somewhere around there is a secret dungeon that contains 6 trasure chests. One on the left has Fury's Eye. Its hard to be really specific on this because if I were specific I would have to add 100k to this FAQ. That goes over my limit :) -------------------------------------------------------------- L O C A T I O N ~===============~ The Chicken Level is easy to find. Go to Quillrabe and go outside of town following the path until you see a gaurd standing by a up and down thingy. Now follow the path (dont go to the rock bridge to the other side of the cliff) and you should see more up and down thingys. Finally you still see three alters where items need to be placed. First the eye, then the book, then the knife. Then a up and down button thing will come down. Go onto it and take the ride. Then there is an invisible path you have to follow. Then you take a little up and down thingy and your in the chicken level! -------------------------------------------------------------- C O O L T H I N G S ~=====================~ Im only going to list two of the cool things about the Chicken Level here. In the next version I will probably have more than five things. 1) Big Time Treasure The chickens drop SUPER RARE treasure. I had to make a second trip! 2) The super gun! Colonal Norick (the guy you first saw in the Kingdom of Ehb saying the krug were attacking), the boss of the Chicken Level drops the Chicken Gun. A very fast weapon, but not the strongest long range weapon because I have a better bow. It does 200 to 350. -------------------------------------------------------------- C L O S U R E ~=============~ As to this being my third Dungeon Siege FAQ I am truly proud! Here are my contacts.
